About Oranje-Nassau

Thanks to Mr. Paul J. Scheulderman in the Netherlands.
The picture is stored in the archives at BCU Lausanne.

Oranje-Nassau is a combination of the names of dynasties.
Every year on the birthday of the Queen of the Netherlands, a list of honorable people, special contribution and important inventions etc. are made.
In 1938, Queen Wilhelmina of Holland endowed Schuricht with the order of Oranje-Nassau.
Always there are 3 to 5 people on the list who get this banner and other decorations.
(They say people who get it must pay for it!).
You can see an article of a newspaper put on the picture.
